About Jessica

Hi, I’m Jessica Pelasky — a lifelong advocate for learning, inclusion, and belonging.

Professionally, I’ve spent over 15 years designing global learning programs and DEI strategies for global organizations, where I’ve led certification training across 30+ territories and driven enterprise-wide inclusion initiatives that reached thousands worldwide.

Personally, I live with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (sometimes called brittle bone disease), a condition that has shaped both my resilience and my deep belief that kindness and empathy can transform how people work and live. My journey — from years of care at Shriners Hospitals for Children to leading culture transformation work in global boardrooms — has taught me that accessibility and inclusion aren’t just values; they’re leadership essentials.

I've had the privilege to speak at various events and below are some of just a few of them:

  • Kindness Unites 2025
    November 13, 2025
From Awareness to Allyship: Leading with Kindness and Empathy

We explored how we can move beyond simply noticing challenges to actively becoming allies who create inclusive, trusting, and connected spaces for all.

Awareness is the first step. Allyship is the action. And when kindness and empathy come together, real change happens.

  • Ohio State University: Disability in Employment Flagship Event
Sponsored by a few organizations on campus in collaboration to commemorate Disability Employment Awareness Month
    November 3, 2024

I got to meet some amazing speakers and wonderful students who had great conversations around the subject of what it looks like to have a Disability in the workplace, accommodations, and hiring those with disabilities.

  • In Good Company Works webinar series

This event focused on how to build stronger teams by embracing the contributions of individuals with disabilities.

As we continue to celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month, let us remember that disability inclusion is not about charity – it is about tapping into the full potential of every individual and creating a workplace where everyone feels like they belong.

Outside of work, I’m fueled by good coffee, inspired by The Grinch’s message that hearts really can grow three sizes, and kept endlessly entertained by my fluffy sidekick, Shiloh the Coton de Tulear. Whether it’s crafting a keynote, mentoring an emerging leader, or enjoying a quiet morning with a mug in hand, I’m guided by the same belief: lead with empathy, and everything else will follow.
